When I was 10 years old, I traveled to the United States with my father and brother. We drove to remote national parks in our RV. I remember my father misjudging the scale of the map. As a result, we didn't arrive at the campsite until the middle of the night, where the friendly guard was waiting for us after we explained our situation over the phone. Hundreds of kilometers away from any civilization, we were fortunate that the sky was crystal clear and we were able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the starry sky. The Milky Way was visible in all its glory, and it left a lasting impression on me that continues to this day. In my painting, I combined my love of portraiture with the beauty of the starry sky.
